trump hates who they hate . . . or at least he talks shit about the people they hate, which in a cultish pseudo-reality TV universe is just the same

trump’s appeal is offering solutions to a self-created, always renewable, crisis

he is a master of ceremonies at the circus, with lions and elephants and clowns . . . he directs the audience as to where they need to look and lets them know what (and how) to “feel”

there is always a “bad clown”, a tiger who likes to eat the one in the cage with him, a petty girl who stares back at you as she glides around the ring, each time catching your eye (so you think) and, perhaps, acknowledging you as she rides by

what he offers (in terms of policy — not his “strength” btw) . . . will fuck the ones who love what he represents, not quite self-aware enough to know that feeling slighted by an individual or group — whether these be immigrants, women, your Econ professor, or the lady who does your hair

means there is something “in you” that isn’t good enough, straight from jump

trump decries losers and the sugar pill he sells is that others are “the losers” not you

they are filled with rage and fear, his followers . . . and more than all other fears, they fear that THEY are the real loser — they think trump is the one validating their ticket for the parking meter

and they love him for doing it

when, in reality (a fairly “fluid” term in trump world) he is drawing them into a world in which their value will, sooner than later, be even less than now

this is not what they want . . . or is it ??

the codependency of lost boys with daddy issues and poor self-esteem, searching for the one “true thing” upon which they can PROUDLY hang their hideous red cap, will lead, inevitably, to grief and loss for the true believers

they feel rage and trump offers them an opportunity to “rage on”

my suggestion, NOW, is to freeze them out; stop giving them fuel for their hatred

ignore them, treat them the way the pretty girl in 10th Grade Biology treated them . . . with indifference

fight for the policy decisions you want but accept that trump’s followers need to feel a collective power and this power is only turned on when there is a target and a short burst adrenalin high

make them feel smaller by looking at them as they truly are

rapists want to feel powerful — they want some type of psychic validation that they’re in control

this is date rape culture with a father figure who allows it

turn this on its head, let them know that you’re not angry with them . . . you simply treat them as if they’re

#INVISIBLE
