Andrew, your predictions to date have been astoundingly accurate. I hope so with this one as well. I would love to see the behavior of communities around the world match the fantasy of the entertainment industry of the 50s. I know in Europe people celebrated their freedom, and I believe the portrayals of that were accurate. Some in the US as well. I believe we can have those days, provided we engage in a strong campaign of education to teach the people to stop seeking happiness from having things, to understand that happiness comes from within.

As to the perpetrators of our suffering, there must be consequences. The whole world must stand in judgment of the "leaders" and the constructors of their "government" (The Federalist Society and Heritage Foundation, among others) for their crimes against humanity. We must abandon the pillars of our legal system and reconstruct it to provide "liberty and justice for all' (the 3 pillars: The King can do no wrong, Aristocratic Privilege, and "honorable gentlemen" are absolved from legal consequences), as we can plainly see where these 18th-century attitudes are the cause of our current dilemma and are contraray to the principles laid out in our Declaration of Independence. Rich white men are not the only citizens, and the Constitution "of the Aristocrat, by the Aristocrat, and for the Aristocrat," must reflect current realities. You can also substitute corporation for Aristocrat here as well. Then fairness and safety can prevail for all humanity.
